After lunch together at the Adventist Church we headed down the street a couple of blocks to a beautiful senior care center, Aegis of Laguna Niguel. Aegis is designed for able seniors as well as those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. We marveled at the lush gardens of colorful flowers* on the grounds as we pulled into their large parking lot and wondered what kind of folk we would be singing to. But when we opened their big wooden doors, a group of almost fifty seniors seated on the main floor and balcony area, greeted us with warm smiles and outstretched hands. Our pianists, Sonja and Joyce, made their way through an abundant supply of Father's Day balloons, and were happily surprised to find a beautiful baby grand in the corner with a tone to match its shiny ebony exterior.

For the next hour the men of His Voice shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song with their new friends. Their hymns sounded rich and deep as the music bounced off the tall ceilings and filled the area with music for the soul. As you can see above, our Director Mike and his wife Debbie were blessed as we all were. We know our new friends at Aegis of Laguna Niguel felt the same way.
