His Voice Spotlights Calvary

This past Saturday, January 14, 2012, the men and families of His Voice gathered at a very familiar church, Valley Adventist Church on Bradley in Sun City, the same place the men practice each week.

The concert opened with Isaiah 6:1-7 being read by baritone Don Troyer introducing Holy is the Lord.  Director Michael Naluai with Jerry Albritton at the piano lead His Voice in their first worship concert of the New Year. A scene from Calvary unfolded as the friends of Jesus took Him off the cross and carried Him to the tomb. Later, Mary visited the tomb and was surprised by Jesus.  As His Voice sang the chorus of their signature song Written in Red, the risen Saviour traced the words of the chorus on the cross,

"I love you, that's what Calvary is all about...."

Several other songs followed and Director Mike read from Scripture describing the new heaven and new earth and the men reverently closed the concert by singing The Lord's Prayer.
