LIFTING UP JESUS IN LOMA LINDA

February is the perfect time to lift up the Shepherd of Love and that's just what His Voice did February 8 when they spent their day in the little town of Loma Linda, California. The city is sixty miles east of Los Angeles, sitting in the shadow of the snow covered San Bernardino mountains. It is famous for Loma Linda University Medical Center started over 100 years ago. LLUMC also has it's own TV station and many other outreaches that bless people around the world. Several of the members of His Voice live in the area and participate in ministry in their churches as well as in the community.

The morning of February 8 began at a worship service with seniors at the Linda Valley Villa retirement residence, just down the block from the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center. Following the morning program the men and their families were treated to lunch by the Villa. His Voice spent the afternoon recording at Loma Linda Broadcasting Network (LLBN) studios for a future TV program. The young man behind the LLBN camera above is second tenor Bob & his wife Ethel's son, Kevin Ferguson, a volunteer at LLBN.

Our photographers for the February concerts were Ethel Ferguson, wife of His Voice second tenor Bob Ferguson, and His Voice baritone Zeke Vieira. Thank you, Ethel & Zeke! (If you would like to see the pictures close up, double click to enlarge the photo.)

Note: The men of His Voice also had a concert in Desert Hot Springs, friday, February 7, at the Desert Hot Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church. We hope to be receiving pictures from that event as well to share with you in the near future.
