His Voice Bass Don Gwinn checked into Loma Linda University Medical Center's ER (ER16) a little before midnight last night (Sat Nite, Feb 2) with a temperature, yellowing complexion, and pain his stomach. While being taken care of by an ER doctor in the hall, a nurse ran into him almost causing him to fall off the gurney. Consequently an Xray was added to the to-do list plus the already planned MRI of his abdomen.
Don is very concerned he might miss the Super Bowl if he stays in ER and since things are running slow in ER, his wife Julie, feels he might have a good chance of getting to a room before it starts at 3:00PM. Of course, we are all concerned about what is happening to Don. As you all know Don believes firmly in the power of prayer ... so this is a prayer alert for Prayer Warriors around the globe ... thank you for remembering Don and Julie in your prayers!

NOTE: Don Gwinn, though spending almost a year in and out of the hospital, had recovered enough to return to singing with the men of His Voice for their December/Palm Springs and January/Lancaster concerts. This last week he began to feel pain in his stomach when a shunt was removed. He said the hit and run (or was that a run and hit?) collision with a harried member of the emergency room staff hurt more than his stomach pain.
