After enjoying an abundant fellowship dinner with the Valley church family, the men traveled south to Murrieta Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care on Monroe Avenue http://www.murrietagardens.com Murrieta Gardens is known for its homelike atmosphere and personal care and it was evident that the residents were enjoying their stay. The men began their afternoon concert singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” from the balcony of Murrieta Gardens two story atrium where resident’s exclaimed that they felt like they “were listening to angels.”

There was just one more stop before the day would be over so the men and families headed north on the freeway for Loma Linda Springs Senior Apartments on Oakwood Drive http://www.lomalindasprings.com The men had free time and settled in for some rest before their last concert. A little after five in the evening the men gathered in a circle and began singing to one sweet lady who sat close by. She was smiling widely and as the music continued her eyes began to sparkle with tears. Then a man with a sporty hat sat down on the sofa next to her. He seemed so happy to be able to be there and later shared his story with some of the singers. Around the corner a lady in a red dress sat at the public computer. She had only been in the senior apartments a month and was homesick but soon she found her place on the sofa near the happy man with the hat. In a far corner, a man sat quietly listening intently. Just four people, but strangely to the men’s chorus the room seemed to be overflowing with heavenly guests, a great way to end a beautiful Sabbath concert day!
