Saturday, September 12, 2015, the men and families of His Voice headed south into San Diego county and joined the Tierrasanta Seventh-day Adventist Church on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in San Diego for a morning of praise, song, and Bible study. Pastor Gary McCary welcomed the men's chorus and interviewed His Voice Director Michael Naluai before his sermon, "Serpents, Fig Leafs, and the Mystery of Evil." The men's chorus with pianist Jerry Albritton at the grand piano sang several songs with the congregation as well as sharing old time favorites. Following the worship service, His Voice music was available at the CD table for the congregation to take His Voice home with them.
After a bountiful lunch together, His Voice headed north on the I-15 freeway to Fallbrook where they sang for the residents of the Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility at 325 Potter Street. Eager faces reflected the residents' appreciation for the beautiful music sung by the men's chorus in the dining room. Activity Director Jennifer later shared with His Voice tenor Dale Anderson, "Tell the men thank you for coming! The people are still talking about them, we needed that, come back soon!"
COME JOIN THE CELEBRATION! The men of His Voice are looking forward to their 10th Anniversary Reunion at Azure Hills Adventist Church at 22633 Barton Avenue in the Loma Linda Area, Saturday, October 3, 2015. The day will be full with several special events starting with praise time in the two morning worship services, a reunion potluck, and the His Voice 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert including former singers at 5:00 PM in the church sanctuary. A reception will follow the evening concert. All friends and former His Voice singers are invited to participate in the day's festivities.
