ENCOUNTERING GOD IN THE NEW YEAR

Saturday morning, January 10, 2015, the men and families of His Voice ventured into familiar territory in the Loma Linda area for their first concert of the New Year.  First stop for the men's chorus was the Visayan Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church on South Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino.  His Voice was blessed by the warm Filipino hospitality and sang to their hearts content in the Sabbath morning worship concert lead by Director Michael Naluai.

After the worship service, a new CD, Encountering God, released in late December, was proudly displayed for the first time with three other CDs on the His Voice table: Written in Red, Almighty God, and Lord, Lift Us Up by Pianist Jerry Albritton.  The congregation was enthusiastic to receive a His Voice music CD and gladly supported this fine Gospel outreach.  The men also enjoyed a wonderful lunch set out before them in glorious Filipino flair.

In the afternoon the men's chorus sang several concerts at two senior facilities in the area, Heritage Gardens and Asistencia Villa off Barton Road in Loma Linda and Redlands.

NEXT MONTH: Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 14, two His Voice concerts are planned: 11:00 AM, Laguna Nigel Seventh-day Adventist Church and a second concert in the afternoon.

The photos below show in a small part the friendly faces and special places His Voice encountered on January 10, enjoy!
