GRATEFUL MELODIES REACH TEMECULA & LOMA LINDA

Saturday morning, March 9, 2013, His Voice headed for Loma Linda and began their concert day at the Spanish Adventist Church on Mountain View, then after a delicious lunch at the Ferguson's home, they shared a praise concert with the residents of Emeritus of Loma Linda, a continuing care retirement community, also off Mountain View.  Their last stop of the day, was at the Romanian Adventist Church on Mayberry Street for a vespers concert - a blessed way to end the Sabbath.

Early the next day, Sunday, March 10, the men and families of His Voice drove south to Temecula and had a worship concert at Stone Creek Bible Church, followed by a noon-time concert at Fountain of Life Ministries, an outreach to the homeless, and then took a lunch break at the Krkljus' home.  The men's chorus ended the concert weekend at Grace Presbyterian on Nicolas Road singing to a roomful of happy seniors.

In spite of the many hours and long rides, the weekend was a beautiful blessing:

Singing The Lord's Prayer together with the Stone Creek congregation  - what a powerful moment  to circle the pastoral couple and sing to the Heavenly Father on their behalf!    At the first concert on Saturday, His Voice waited for a while before they sang for the Spanish congregation but when they circled the waiting congregation the sound of men singing praises brought an unexpected blessing of God's grace to all.  The Romanian Church welcomed His Voice with open arms, translating the children's story and other introductions for their worldwide Romanian congregation.  Then there was the standing ovation from the seniors of Grace Presbyterian as Director Michael Naluai ended the two day concert tour with "America the Beautiful."  But the smallest of congregations,  with the biggest heart, was a homeless outreach ministry, Fountain of Life, where men and women on the rough edge of met together at God's gathering place to be fed, spiritually as well as physically. His Voice was privileged to be a part of this gentle Gospel outreach.

At each place of worship, His Voice freely shared their CDs with all who came,  they also shared their mission to El Oasis Orphanage in Baja, Mexico and tirelessly sang melodies of thanksgiving, in the end reaping the biggest blessing of all, walking in His steps.

Below are a few pictures from May 9 & 10....
