Friday evening, May 11, 2012, His Voice, under the direction of Michael Naluai and pianist Jerry Albritton, warmed up for the first of two evening concerts in the Southwest Gospel Concert series.
The Christian men's chorus joined The Glory Gates Quartet as featured singers for the evening. Friends and families from a dozen regional churches gathered at the stately First Baptist Church located at the corner of Girard and Acacia in Hemet.
Frank Hartig, a new member in His Voice and a longtime quartet singer himself, introduced the groups for the evening. His Voice began their portion of the program with their signature song "Written in Red" and closed the evening with "America the Beautiful" as the audience stood in grateful honor.
Following the inspiring concert, His Voice shared many of their CD's with the happy listeners.
The Southwest Christian Church in Temecula followed the next evening to complete the Southwest Gospel Concert series. Above is a picture collage of the Friday evening concert in addition to the panorama below.
