The men of His Voice, under the direction of Michael Naluai with pianist Jerry Albritton, traveled to San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, Saturday, June 11. The men's chorus began their concert day singing to two congregations in Mentone. They continued on to an afternoon concert for seniors at Braswells Hampton Manor in Yucaipa and finally arrived in Banning for an evening vespers.
.
The men's chorus first shared inspirational music with the Mentone Spanish congregation tenor Bob Ferguson translating for the Spanish congregation. Later, Bass Harold Van Dyke assisted Pastor Kyle Allen during a baptism. The men's chorus met a host of friendly seniors in Yucaipa and closed their concert day at the Banning Adventist Church with a devotional vespers. The His Voice family was enriched with fellowship and food, first for lunch at the Mentone church and then for a vespers supper at the Banning church. Special thanks goes to the ladies of the Mentone church and Sue Langford with the ladies of the Banning Church.
.
His Voice sang several songs from their new CD, Almighty God including a favorite, God Bless America. Remarkably, the two His Voice CD's, Written in Red and Almighty God, are now available for anyone at their concerts (see bottom of page).
.
Along with singing Gospel songs, Director Mike also shared a slide show highlighting previous His Voice trips to Mexico to provide aid to orphanages in Baja by building dorms and classrooms. Another mission trip is planned later this year - contact Director Mike if you'd like to help.
The men and families of His Voice were glad to be together. They were blessed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and song and enjoyed meeting many new friends during the day. The pictures posted below are from the four concerts on June 11th.
