January 9, 2010, the men of His Voice journeyed to Mission Bay in San Diego to share in the memorial celebration for Tim Bresenden, husband of Jana Naluai Bresender, Mike & Debbie's daughter.

Tim was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2005 while living in China. He and Jana moved to Southern California to be near friends and family and pursue treatment to extend Tim's life. A multitude of prayers surrounded the little Bresenden family of five for the next four years but finally on New Year's Day, Tim passed to his rest at home surrounded by those he loved.

Every month for the past five years, His Voice has traveled to the far corners of Southern California and beyond to share what they love about Jesus. In one concert day, they sing two or three hour-long concerts with a variety of songs but this time, Saturday morning at the Bahai Resort Hotel banquet room in Mission Bay/San Diego, the men of His Voice sang just one song, "No More Night."
.
Of all the concerts His Voice has given, singing this song for Tim and Jana and their families was the biggest and best. The message of hope touched hearts and as the song ended, friends stood in honor of Tim. The pictures above are just a few of many that were taken that weekend but they tell the story of His Voice sharing in the grand celebration of the life of a Christian gentleman named Tim.

NO MORE NIGHT by Walter Harrah

"The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away. It’s not a dream, God will make all things new that day. Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell. Evil is banished to eternal hell. No more night. No more pain. No more tears. Never crying again. And praises to the great "I AM." We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.

"See all around, now the nations bow down to sing. The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King. Slowly the names from the book are read. I know the King, so there’s no need to dread. No more night. No more pain. No more tears. Never crying again. And praises to the great "I AM." We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.

"See over there, there’s a mansion, oh, that’s prepared just for me, Where I will live with my Savior eternally. No more night. No more pain. No more tears. Never crying again. And praises to the great "I AM." We will live in the light of the risen Lamb. All praises to the great "I AM."We’re gonna live in the light of the risen Lamb."

Thank you for your moving performance. I do not think there was a dry eye in the room.

The performance of this song, to me, was one of the highlights of the memorial service. What amazing words, what fantastic voices! You all brought both me and my 8-year-old daughter to tears with this song. Thank you for performing this for Tim and for all of us who were able to be there to celebrate his life.
