HIS VOICE in SAN DIEGO COUNTY

THE SUN HAD HARDLY RISEN when a band of the singing men of His Voice journeyed into the fire-ravaged hills of North San Diego County this past Sabbath, November 10. Their first songs echoed in the sanctuary of the Poway Adventist Church blessing the little chapel.

LATER THAT AFTERNOON THE MEN CIRCLED the residents in the social room of Escondido's Las Villas del Norte. Notice the many happy seniors being greeted by the men following their music.




















BY SUNSET THE MEN FOUND themselves at the Valley Center Adventist Church praising God with His sweetest songs. At the end of the day and AFTER all the HUGS AND LAUGHTER AND TEARS, the men sat down together with the church families for a supper of homemade soup and sandwiches.

The small plastic fruit plate shown at the end of these pictures was placed in the center of the buffet table by a proud grandfather. It was a little girl's first gift to her church dinner.

THE BOND THAT FORMS WHEN MEN STAND SIDE BY SIDE all day long singing of Jesus' love reaches deep into a person's soul. As we sing or just listen, we find ourselves smiling because we know that we, too, have heard HIS VOICE!
