Discovering Saint Mark's Valley

Saturday morning, March 12, 2011, the men and families of His Voice headed south into "Los Vallecitos de San Marcos - the Little Valley of Saint Mark" to praise God. Two hundred years before, settlers from Spain were pursing Indians into the hills when they discovered the fertile valley and began what would later be known as San Marcos.

This Sabbath day, the men's chorus entered Saint Mark's Valley and discovered the "Sanctuary of Hope and Healing" at the San Marcos Seventh-day Adventist Church on Woodland Parkway. His Voice came to bless and they were blessed!

After the 11:00 worship service and a delightful fellowship dinner, His Voice joined some of the congregation to visit their oldest church member, Eloise Bullock, at the Escondido Care Center. Eloise, 102 years young, surprised those gathered in the dining hall by sharing some of her favorite hymns on the piano with the men's chorus singing along.
