Cross Reflections

.
This is the first of two concerts on this day:
Sunday morning, November 15, His Voice men's chorus had the privilege to join in worship with the people of First Baptist Church of Sun City, California. The men were greeted by warm hearts and precious reflections of the cross of Jesus.
.
.
Following the worship service, His Voice baritone, retired Army Chaplain Don Troyer, was surprised to meet Don Zimmerman, a member of First Baptist. Both men were Army chaplain assistants, sharing the strength of Jesus to soldiers in two different decades, during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Mr. Zimmerman said that this was the first time since he left the military in the 1950's that he visited with anyone associated with the Army Chaplaincy Corps.

As is the custom of His Voice following their concerts, copies of "Written in Red, their first CD, were given to the congregation leaving the sanctuary. Pictured below is Director Mike Naluai greeting a brother in Christ.

.
Following the worship concert, the men and families of His Voice were treated to an abundant lunch prepared by the ladies of the church. It was good to fellowship together, just blocks away from the Valley Adventist Church where the men practice each week.
