Circle of Prayer Begins New Year

Last night, August 27, 2009, was the first Thursday back together at Sun City's Valley Adventist Church on Bradley Avenue for the men and women of His Voice. Everyone was happy to see each other and catch up on family news.

The election for operating officers was held with members being voted in to lead the men's chorus ministry of His Voice under the direction of Mike Naluai, Musical Director. Those chosen were Tom Tillinghast, Chief Executive Officer; Buddy Fisher, Chief Financial Officer; Jim Langford, Secretary; Don Troyer, Business/Marketing; along with wives Karen Knight, Associate Director of Marketing/Scheduling and Nancy Troyer, Director of Communications.

After elections the men divided into three vocal teams under the tutelage of Joyce Leal, Sonia Dias, and Mike Naluai with Karen Knight. The time seemed to fly by and the evening was almost over when His Voice Bass Donald Gwinn began sharing website prayer requests from http://www.hisvoice.us/

.

The group gathered tightly in a circle bound by arms intertwined and hearts united in praise and prayer to God. Sweet peace descended and bowed heads and hopeful hearts were blessed.
